The road to brand rise: Jinding Intelligent Manufacturing releases the "New National Trend 2.0" strategy
The Yangtze River Delta Garment Industry Alliance today announced the "2025-2030 Carbon Neutrality Action Plan", proposing to achieve the goal of regional industrial chain carbon neutrality by 2030. The plan requires member units to complete within three years: 100% use of sustainable packaging materials, 50% of production capacity shifted to clean energy, and 30% of raw materials replaced with recycled fibers. A supply chain company has built the world's first "zero-carbon factory", which has reduced the carbon footprint of a single piece of clothing by 76% through photovoltaic power generation and wastewater recycling systems.
Data from the environmental protection department show that the clothing industry accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions. This action has received responses from 42 brands and 58 manufacturers, and is expected to reduce annual carbon emissions by 1.2 million tons. Wang Fang, secretary-general of the alliance, said: "This is an important turning point for the industry to shift from passive compliance to active innovation, and green competitiveness will become a core advantage in the future."
